27–28 May 2026Our team attended the CDA Institute’s Ottawa Conference on March 4–5, 2026, and CANSEC in Ottawa on May 27–28, 2026.
Our work spans sensor fusion, threat intelligence, secure automation and data for unmanned systems. We welcome collaboration with government teams and defence companies developing these capabilities.
Data for sensing and unmanned systems
Our data work covers collection planning, annotation and analysis for specific sensing tasks. We’re interested in programmes that need data from conditions existing datasets do not cover.
Sensor fusion
We develop methods for combining sensor inputs in long-range detection and situational-awareness systems. Timing, alignment and uncertainty are central to this work, especially when observations are incomplete.
Cyber and threat analysis
We apply machine learning to security logs and threat data. Our team’s published research on language models for log analysis examines methods for classifying events and interpreting security data.
Secure automation
We develop secure interfaces and verification methods for automated systems. This includes access controls, software behaviour and failure handling.
